Dear TVMA Members,

Veterinary school is a demanding and fulfilling journey that requires a great deal of dedication and hard work. As a student pursuing my dream of becoming a veterinarian, I am grateful for the support of veterinarians who have walked this path before me. Reflecting on my journey thus far, I am reminded of the surreal moments that have made this experience truly unforgettable. One of these moments was when I received a stethoscope from TVMF at orientation. As I looped it over my neck, I felt a surge of confidence and determination, knowing that it was a gift from a fellow veterinarian. This simple yet meaningful gesture has had a lasting impact on me.

I also witnessed the incredible support of TVMF when they awarded my classmate with an emergency grant after her car was broken into and her laptop stolen. As finals were approaching, she desperately needed a new laptop to study. With TVMF’s assistance, she was able to quickly purchase a new one, and her gratitude was immeasurable. I am writing to humbly request your kind support for TVMF’s Veterinary Student Support programs. Your donation, no matter the size, will help shape futures for veterinary students and the profession in Texas as a whole. A gift not only helps us as individuals, but also the countless animals that we will have the privilege to treat and care for in the future. On behalf of my classmates and every current veterinary student, I want to express my most sincere gratitude for paying-it-forward. Your generosity is appreciated and will have a lasting impact on those who will follow in your footsteps. Together, we can ensure a bright and successful future for veterinary students in Texas!

Sincerely,
