TVMF Annual Report: Highlights from FY 2023-2024

Dear Friends of TVMF,

As I reflect on my first year as President of Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation (TVMF), I am humbly reminded that our work would not be possible without your support. Whether you are a member of the veterinary profession or an adored animal lover, we applaud the impact you have made for TVMF as a donor and friend. TVMF has made great strides this year in many facets, but especially in promoting our presence to Texas veterinarians and garnering their support of our charitable initiatives.

As veterinarians, we inherently want and need to help when called. Yet, finding a trusted avenue for philanthropy can be a challenge when faced with incredible demand for veterinary skills, money, time, and resources. TVMF, however, continues to step up as the preferred charity for veterinary medicine in Texas—where veterinary care, education, scholarship, and resources are all leveraged for the responsible stewardship of animals in veterinary-friendly ways.

This has manifested in many ways including:

• Strong backing from various Veterinary Medical Associations across the state of their local LEAP programs,
• An outpouring of support from busy, practicing veterinarians of our stethoscope program for students,
• And continued in-kind and monetary contributions from some extraordinary companies that make up the veterinary industry.

Still, an ever-present need remains for TVMF to meet the needs of beloved animals and those that are devoted to caring for them. We hope you take a moment to review our year of impact and the incredible support from our treasured friends and sponsors. Thank you for joining us in the success and the continued work to be done!
