All TexVetPets information is guaranteed to be scientifically accurate, relevant, and up to date. As the Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation’s public outreach and educational program, TexVetPets facilitates responsible pet ownership.
Each article, infographic, or other media is written and peer-reviewed by two veterinarians or licensed veterinary technicians who are members of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, one of the largest state veterinary associations in the United States.
TexVetPets.org does not intend to provide veterinary advice. While we provide information resources and animal health education, the content here is not a substitute for veterinary guidance.
