Honoring the Veterinary Profession: Texas A&M Honors Convocation

At this year’s Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (TAMU-SVMBS) Honors Convocation, 54 awards were given to 75 veterinary students, residents and faculty members. The Honors Convocation is one of the highlights of the veterinary academic year as both students and faculty members are celebrated and honored for their achievements. The Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation (TVMF) took part in the 2024 Honors Convocation on April 24.

 

Among the honorees were:

Small Animal Awards:

TVMF Johnson Memorial: Shelby Gasson, DVM

Large Animal Awards:
TVMF Earl Waddell: Bridget Savitske, DVM
TVMF Johnson Memorial: Heath Manning, DVM

Summer 2023 TVMF Student Research Scholars:

TVMF Philanthropy Scholorship Awards:

TVMF Cultivating Community Scholarship Award:
