Dax was half Aussie Shepherd & half Blue Heeler and 100% goofball. He was MY first dog, and he became my emotional support dog without me realizing it. He made me laugh every day (shenanigans!) and always kept me company. He was also my fierce protector, but if you called his bluff, he’d probably run away! As he got older, he kept closer tabs on me, so I never did anything alone. He LOVED playing ball, frisbees, or anything you could throw (socks, paper towel rolls…). He also had a blast running up and down stairs. He wasn’t much of a swimmer, but if he had a big floatie to lie on, he was happy to chill. He loved our other dog and was a typical, annoying younger brother. He was less coordinated than his sister, much to our amusement. He & his sister travelled a lot with us. We went to Alaska, Canada, and many other states and national parks. He was the guard for our little nieces & nephews and took it seriously. He was the best boy, and there will never be another pup like him.
