I found Miss Adelaide in a culvert down the road from our house when she was about 4 weeks old. She was a small, scraggly kitten crying very loudly to be found. I took her home, fed her, and had her checked out by our veterinarian. She was dirty, and when we got a chance to wash her we discovered that she was pure, solid white! Miss Adelaide stayed with us for 14 1/2 years. She was with us as our nest became empty. She was with us through some of the most difficult years of our lives thus far. She was always beautiful and good. A gentle kitty with a comforting purr. A sweet kitty with beautiful green eyes that looked at me with love. A picture of beauty and calm in a crazy world. A gift from God. An angel!
