Sweetie was a stray that I rescued on 09/04/2010. It became obvious that she had previously been abused. Throughout her life she remained terrified of children and loud noises, but she LOVED her momma, her new “pack” and every new dog that she met. Her foster mom apologized for giving her such a simple, common name, but no other name could have fit her better! She was the Sweetest of the Sweet! Always happy and always smiling. She demanded Beggin Strips from anyone that she knew could reach the bag. She was a rescuer to me in so many ways! I will never know what happened in her early life, but she was a joyous little ray of sunshine in mine for 13 years.
