We rescued Taco in 2017. He was one day away from being euthanized. Surrendered by his previous owner. He had heartworms and he was in bed health. We got him the help he needed and we treated him for the heartworms. We gave him love for all the years that we had him. We loved him so much. Taco had developed congestive heart failure and his health finally deteriorated. It was very hard for us to lose him. I miss that little guy everyday. It was very hard having to make that decision but we knew that he wouldn’t struggle anymore or feel like he couldn’t breathe good. That was the only thing that made us feel better about our decision. I am hoping to see him again one day. He was such a tiny dog but he made a huge impact on our lives. Everybody loved Taco.
