We adopted Tater from Texas Humane Heroes in Leander, Texas on June 9, 2015. There he was known as “Sweet Boy”. He was a little over a year old and had been rescued from an animal hoarder situation in Brady, Texas with almost 50 other dogs.
Described as a terrier mix, he loved to run and be top of high places. He hated riding in vehicles. Despite our best efforts, he never got over this. He was aloof with other animals but friendly and relaxed with people. At about 20 pounds he was a great size for sharing a spot on the couch or occasionally in bed. He tolerated, but was very wary of his sibling cat, Bear.
He loved basking in the sun, going on walks, and posing with his front paws crossed. We greatly miss his companionship and quirky ways. With all our love to our dear, beloved Tater.
