Dear Friends of TVMF,

Many have asked me my favorite thing about the Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation (TVMF). While there are many, the primary reason I love the Foundation is that it unifies the immense compassion of pet owners and veterinarians to create a meaningful and life-saving impact. Each with our own perspective and strengths, together we make up a team that genuinely cares for and values the human-animal bond.

Thank you for making TVMF so unique.

As my term as president of the Foundation ends, I want to take a moment to reflect on what we have accomplished together and to thank you for your continued support of TVMF’s charitable mission.

By helping veterinary students, fellow pet owners and communities across Texas, TVMF continues to make a difference for beloved animals and the veterinarians who care for them. This past year, we distributed more scholarship dollars to veterinary students than ever before. We provided more than 20 grants that supported life-saving veterinary care. And, in partnership with nonprofits in your community, we delivered high-quality wellness care to hundreds of animals in need.

This work is only possible because of you. Thank you.

Your love for animals and ensuring they receive veterinary care is what drives our mission. Whether you have honored your pet or veterinarian, made a charitable gift or simply helped spread awareness of our mission, you have played a role in extending TVMF’s impact.

Looking ahead, I encourage you to remain involved with the Foundation and continue supporting its charitable programs. I certainly will, and I am confident in passing the baton of such a fruitful organization to the next president. The best is yet to come, and together, we can ensure that the care and compassion that defines you as a pet owner and animal lover expands to other beloved animals and families in need.

Thank you again for your support and the opportunity to serve.

Gratefully,

Tracy McAdoo, DVM
President, Texas Veterinary Medical Foundation
